1. Table of Contents
A Table of Contents (TOC) lists the headings and subheadings in your document, usually placed at the beginning. It helps readers easily navigate long documents, such as books or reports.
Steps to Create a TOC:
- Go to the second page and add your chapter titles.
- Select each title → Click References > Add Text > Level 1.
- For sub-chapters, use Level 2, Level 3, etc.
- Go to the first page → Click References > Table of Contents → Choose an automatic style.
